Cape May, My Love

The Chinese Bamboo Story

A great lesson of patience, persistence and hard work can be learned from the story of planting Chinese bamboo. Unlike most other plants, Chinese bamboo is quite unique on its own. When this bamboo is planted, watered, and nurtured for the whole growing season, it does not outwardly develop even just for an inch. Then, on the next growing season, the farmer must continue to irrigate, fertilize and care for the bamboo tree and yet nothing happens – it fails to sprout just the same.

And as the seasons go in and out, the farmer has to continue caring for the bamboo for four consecutive years. What could really be discouraging is the farmer has nothing substantial to demonstrate for all of his labor in caring and growing the tree. Four lonely years of hard work and caring and yet you have nothing!

And then on the fifth year, you must be prepared for something so amazing and incredible!

All the hard work seems to be paid off on the fifth year because that Chinese bamboo tree seed at last grows and not just growing as we normally see with other plants. The bamboo tree shoots up to more than 80 feet all in just one growing season! Now, that is a very astonishing demonstration of the power of nature!

Now, you might be thinking: Did the small tree loll inactive for four years and then just decides to grow dramatically on the fifth? I think the answer is quite clear for us to see. The little tree was actually developing itself underground by expanding its root system to make it tough enough to sustain its impending external growth in the fifth year and even beyond.

Now, had the tree failed to build up a strong and able underground foundation, it would be impossible for it to keep on growing when it is time to sprout outside into the outside World.

Transformation: Preparing the Physical Body

During my work, I have learned about everything being composed of energy, and the shape, form and transformation of this energy is determined by frequency and vibration.

As the Earth changes its vibration and frequency as it raises itself into a new dimension, we too must prepare ourselves for transformation. “They” have said that we will notice the physical effects more as the frequencies and vibrations increase.

Many of us can sense this transformation; on another level of our being, something profound is happening. With all the changes going on around us, our physical bodies must also change in order to adjust.

During a time of transformation, some physical symptoms may be unpleasant and cause concern. As the frequency of the planet increases, we will have less difficulty with symptoms caused by energy blockages.

Many of my subjects have been told that they must change their diet in order to make the adjustment in frequencies to achieve physical and spiritual transformation. They and I have been warned repeatedly to stop eating meats, especially beef and pork. We were cautioned against eating animal protein in general, due to the processing with harsh chemicals and artificial ingredients which act as irritants to the body.

The body cannot achieve transformation if toxins are polluting it. “They” said fowl and fish were better meats because they are lighter, but the best foods of all are fresh fruits and vegetables.
The information I have received clearly states the body must become lighter in order to make the ascension and realize transformation. Drinking clean water is also extremely important in order to flush the body of toxins and to resonate with higher frequencies.

With a new understanding that what we eat affects not only our physical but spiritual transformation, it is more crucial now than ever to pay extra attention to our diet.

The Three Waves of Volunteers...Three Generations of New Souls

The first wave of these souls, now in their late 40s to early 60s (the Baby Boomer generation), have had the hardest time adjusting to life on Earth. They are horrified by the rampant violence of our world and want to return “home” – even though they consciously have no idea where it is. Strong emotions like anger and hate deeply disturb them. Some rebelled against the status quo and even committed suicide to escape the chaos of Earth. They are the pioneers who paved the way for the second and third waves of volunteers.

The second wave is now in their late 20s and 30s. They have made the transition to life on Earth much more easily than the first wave. The second wave souls tend to work behind the scenes, often on their own, creating little or no Karma. In the sessions I conduct as a hypnotist, they have been described as antennas that unconsciously channel energy onto the Earth. They do not have to do anything; they just have to be. Their energy affects everyone they come into contact with. Their paradox is they are supposed to be sharing their energy, but they do not like being around people.

Many first and second wave souls unconsciously realize that having children creates Karma. Many do not marry in the first place, unless they are fortunate enough to meet another soul to whom they can relate. They just want to do their job and go home.

The third wave is a group of exceptional new children, many of whom are in their teens. These advanced children are already equipped with enhanced DNA compatible with the frequency of the new earth. They need challenges to keep them interested, not drugs to treat their misdiagnosed illnesses such as ADHD. They are the new "hope of the World".

The END TIMES

The end times will not be the end of Earth, but the end of darkness and evil on Earth.

When love reaches a critical mass

when enough people become miracle-minded, the world will experience a radical shift.

A miracle worker

is not geared toward fighting the world that is, but toward creating the world that could be.

The enlightened ones

They have been purified of fearful thoughts and only love remains within their minds.  These purified beings are called the enlightened ones.  Light means understanding.

Enlightenment is but recognition

 not a change at all.

Anything that isn’t love is an illusion

Thought separated from love is a profound miscreation.  It’s our own power turned against ourselves.  The moment the mind first deviated from love an entire illusionary world came into being.

If we think we’re magnificent creatures with an infinite abundance of love and power to give

then we tend to behave that way.

May Peace Prevail On Earth

Eight ways to tap into the power of intention and feel great every day

  1. Make meditation a regular practice in your life. You need to take time to get quiet, to go within, and from this silence make conscious contact with the source of intention. You’re already connected to everything that you perceive as missing from your life; go with a realign.
  2. Become conscious of the foods you eat. Foods high in alkalinity such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, soy, nonyeast breads and virgin olive oil are high-energy foods and will strengthen you, while highly acidic foods such as flour-based cereals, meats, dairy and sugars lower energy and will weaken you.
  3. Retreat from low-energy substance. Alcohol, cigarettes, caffeine, sugar and virtually all artificial drugs, legal or otherwise, lower your body’s energy level and weaken you.
  4. Become aware of the energy level of the music you listen to. Some music—filled with profanity and messages about killing, for example—is an energy drain, while music that has a more soothing impact on the soul has been proven to be beneficial.
  5. Become aware of the energy levels of your home environment. Make your home a nurturing, cheerful and peaceful environment.
  6. Reduce your exposure to low-energy commercial television. Children see 12,000 simulated murders on TV before their 14th birthday! Television news puts a heavy emphasis on the bad and the ugly, leaving out the good.
  7. Enhance your energy field with photographs. Every photograph contains energy. Carry and display photos taken in moments of happiness, love and receptivity.
  8. Become conscious of the energy levels of your acquaintances, friends and extended family. Choose to be in close proximity to those who are empowering, who see the greatness in you, who feel connected to spirit.

How May I Serve?

If you could have any job in the world what would it be? Here’s how I have handled the getting of jobs and how I have advised others to go about it. First, get a really sharp, clear vision of what you would like to see yourself doing. Then go to a quiet place in meditation and make conscious contact with God. The beauty of meditation is that you begin to get answers. Instead of asking for something for yourself, put all of your energy and attention into visualizing yourself in a capacity of serving, offering, or creating. It’s then that doors begin to open for you.

Lao-tzu says that doors don’t open while we have attachment to physical things for ourselves. What he calls the angelic guides or Source energy doesn’t enter our lives until we take the focus off “what’s in it for me?” or “what kind of job am I going to get?” or “how much money am I going to make?” and instead focus on “how may I serve?” Get that inner picture of yourself serving in the capacity of your choice and then be at peace with it. Take the focus off scarcity and lack and visualize service. That’s how Spirit works—when we’re letting go, when we’re not trying, not chasing. “Let yourself be lived by it,” says Lao-tzu. Go within and trust Divine timing. That’s how it’s always worked for me and I’ve always had more work than I could handle.

Seek the Light

Do they seem to have a rapturous heart, sending out signals that they love the world and everyone in it?

Are they jubilant about the work they do?

Do they see the world as a friendly place?

Are they at peace with themselves?

Do they appear to be kind rather than judgmental?

Do they tend to be cheerful?

Do they love to play?

Are they willing to be students as well as teachers?

Do they love nature?

Are they in awe of the world?

Are they approachable?

Do they take great pleasure in serving others?

Do they accept all people as equals?

Are they open to new ideas?

The answers to these questions will help us determine whether another person is potentially an inspiring influence in our lives. We can recognize them by how we feel in their presence. We recognize their high spiritual energy, which longs to be active in our lives. For me, it feels like a warm, soothing shower that’s running deep within me. I know I’m resonating with a higher energy that makes me feel incredibly good!

No Mountain Too High

Your Friendly Universe

One of the most important decisions you’ll ever make is choosing the kind of universe you exist in: is it helpful and supportive or hostile and unsupportive? Your answer to this question will make all the difference in terms of how you live your life and what kind of Divine assistance you attract.
Remember that you get what you think about, whether you want it or not. So if you believe that this is an unfriendly universe, you’ll look for examples to support this point of view. You’ll anticipate people attempting to cheat, judge, take advantage of, and otherwise harm you. You’ll blame the antagonistic, inhospitable cosmos for not cooperating with you in the fulfillment of your desires. You’ll point the finger at belligerent people and bad luck for the kind of world we all live in.
I implore you to see the universe as a warm and supportive one because you’ll look for evidence to support this view. When you anticipate that the universe is friendly, you see friendly people. You look for circumstances to work in your favor. You anticipate good fortune flowing into your life.
My favorite affirmation when I feel stuck or out of sorts is: Whatever I need is already here, and it is all for my highest good. Jot this down and post it conspicuously throughout your home, on the dashboard of your car, at your office, on your microwave oven, and even in front of your toilets! Remind yourself: I live in a friendly universe that will support any thing or desire that is aligned with the universal Source of all.
I’ve found that by shifting my belief about the nature of the universe, I attract whatever I desire into my life. I desire love. I desire peace. I desire health. I desire happiness. I desire prosperity. When I pray, I do so in the spirit of Saint Francis, who beseeched God to “make me an instrument of your peace.” In other words, “Let me be like the Source from which I originated, and then I will rest in the knowing that my desires must be here, on their way, and for my highest good.”

Trust Divine Order

Think about all the people who share the stage with you as you move through life. Can you affirm that everyone you need shows up, and that they’re perfect in every way for whatever needs you have at the time? In this intelligent system that you’re a part of, everything arrives from the field of intention where the infinite, invisible life force flows through everyone and everything. This includes you, and everyone else as well. Trust in this invisible life force and the all-creating mind that intends everything into existence.
I suggest that you do a quick review, and note all of the people who’ve shown up as characters in this play called your life. It has all been perfect. Your ex-spouse showed up at just the right time—when you needed to create those children you love so much. The father who walked out on you so that you could learn self-reliance left right on time. The lover who abandoned you was a part of this perfection. The lover who stayed with you was also taking his or her cues from Source. The good times, the struggles, the tears, the abuse—all of it involved people coming into your life and then leaving.
This is your past, and whatever your energy level at the time, whatever your needs, whatever your station in life, you attracted the right people and events to you. You may feel that they didn’t show up when you needed them, that in fact, you were alone and no one showed up at all, but I urge you to see it from the perspective of all of life being in divine order. If no one showed up, it was because you needed to handle something on your own and therefore attracted no one at that time.Viewing the past as a play in which all the characters and all entrances and exits were scripted by your Source and represent what you attracted at the time, frees you from guilt, regret, and even revenge.
As a result, you’ll go from being an actor who’s influenced by others playing the roles of producer and director, to being the writer, producer, director, and star of your glorious life. You’ll also be the casting director who possesses the ability to audition anyone you choose. Base your choices on taking the path of no resistance and staying harmonized with the ultimate producer of this entire drama: our universal all-creating Source.

The Ego Illusion

You’ve probably noticed the word AMBULANCE written backwards on the front of a vehicle so that a person seeing it in their rear-view mirror can read it. When you look into a mirror, what you see is backwards, too. Your right hand is your left, your eyes are reversed. You understand that this is a backward view that you are seeing and you make the appropriate adjustments. You do not confuse reality with the image in the mirror.
The ego-idea of yourself is very much like the mirror example, without the adjustments. Your ego wants you to look for the inside on the outside. The outer illusion is the major preoccupation of the ego.
The ego-idea has been with us ever since we began to think. It sends us false messages about our true nature. It leads us to make assumptions about what will make us happy and we end up frustrated. It pushes us to promote our self-importance while we yearn for a deeper and richer life experience. It causes us to fall into the void of self-absorption again and again, not knowing that we need only shed the false idea of who we are.
Our true self is eternal. It is the God force within us. The way of our higher self is to reflect our inner reality rather than the outer illusion. The description given by Sogyal Rinpoche in The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying is a wonderful explanation of this discovery: “Two people have been living in you all of your life. One is the ego, garrulous, demanding, hysterical, calculating; the other is the hidden spiritual being, whose still voice of wisdom you have only rarely heard or attended to.” He refers to this hidden spiritual being as our wise guide.
When we learn to transcend the illusions sponsored by the ego, we can access this wise guide. We can invite in the higher aspects of ourselves to function in their natural, loving, and integrated design.

There Ain't No Good , There Ain't No Bad , There's Only Experience

With everything that has happened to you, you can either feel sorry for yourself or treat what has happened as a gift. Everything is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. You get to choose.

''I wouldn't have grown one bit if I didn't learn to forgive'' Marie Balter

Marie Balter’s life story is one of hope and inspiration to those suffering from severe emotional pain and trauma.

Marie, neglected as a child, was given up for adoption during the Great Depression by an alcoholic mother who was unable to care for her.

Unfortunately, her adoptive parents were physical and emotionally abusive toward her. She developed severe anxiety (Panic Disorder) and psychotic depression (Major Depressive Disorder, Recurrent, Severe With Psychotic Features) early in her life,

and eventually found herself admitted to Danvers State Hospital Insane Asylum.

Misdiagnosed as having schizophrenia, she was placed on near lethal doses of an experimental antipsychotic drug, which only served to exacerbate her mental and emotional condition.

Eventually, Marie was placed on the correct medication which allowed her to continue to work toward wellness.

She relied on her deep faith in God and the positive relationships that she had made with some of the staff members and patients at the state hospital where she resided for 20 years.

In 1966, Marie was discharged from Danvers State.  She married a man whom she described as the “love of her life.”

Making good on a promise that she made to God that she would dedicate her life to working with the mentally ill, Marie returned to school and earned a master’s degree from Harvard University.

She later founded the Balter Institute where she hoped that her patient-led idea of mental healthcare would continue

How Can I Forgive You? The Courage To Forgive, The Freedom Not To by Janis Abrahms Spring, Ph.D.

She is also the author of After The Affair.
excerpt:
The author divides her book into four parts:

Part One ~ Cheap Forgiveness An Inauthentic Act of Peacekeeping That resolves Nothing
Part Two ~ Refusing To Forgive A Rigid Response That Keeps You Entombed In Hate
Part Three ~ Acceptance A Healing Gift to Yourself That Asks Nothing of the Offender
Part Four ~ Genuine Forgiveness

Acceptance is a healing journey you make by yourself, for yourself. Genuine Forgiveness is a healing journey you make with the offender, as you honor his reparative efforts to make amends.

What Forgiveness Is Not
Forgiveness is not forgetting.
Forgiveness is not condoning.
Forgiveness is not absolution.
Forgiveness is not a form of self-sacrifice.
Forgiveness is not a clear-cut, one-time decision.
Forgiveness is a way of reaching out from a bad past and heading out to a more positive future. ~ Marie Balter

What Forgiveness Is
Forgiveness is a by-product of an ongoing healing process.
Forgiveness is an internal process.
Forgiveness is a sign of positive self-esteem.
Forgiveness is letting go of the intense emotions attached to incidents from our past.
Forgiveness is recognizing that we no longer need our grudges and resentments, our hatred and self-pity.
Forgiveness is no longer wanting to punish the people who hurt us.
Forgiveness is accepting that nothing we do to punish them will heal us.
Forgiveness is freeing up and putting to better use the energy once consumed by holding grudges, harboring resentments, and nursing unhealed wounds.
Forgiveness is moving on.

synastry

If you are able to look at the birth charts of twin flames, you will often see synastry involving Pluto, the planet of deep transformation, Saturn the planet of rigidity and control at work. Both are very karmic. In deep love affairs, also look to Chiron in the synastry to see how she is touching Venus in the other chart.

All loves are a bridge to Divine love

Yet, those who have not had a taste of it do not know.

Of all celestial bodies within reach or view

as far as we can see, out to the edge, the most wonderful and marvellous and mysterious is turning out to be our own planet earth. There is nothing to match it anywhere, not yet anyway.

Everything you see has its roots in the unseen world.

The forms may change, yet the essence remains the same. Every wonderful sight will vanish, every sweet word will fade, But do not be disheartened, The source they come from is eternal, growing, Branching out, giving new life & new joy. Why do you weep? The source is within you, And this whole world is springing up from it.
