Shabkar

When you are master of your body, word and mind, you shall rejoice in perfect serenity.

Neale Donald Walsch

The purpose of a relationship is not to have another who might complete you,
but to have another with whom you might share your completeness.

Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that, because what the world needs are people who have come alive.

Dalai Lama

If you have an enemy, and you think all of the time about how they harmed you, and your grievance, you won’t be able to eat, you won’t be able to sleep, you won’t be bale to enjoy anything. Why give them that satisfaction?

Nora Ephron

Above all, be the heroine of your life, not the victim.

Maya Angelou

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.

John O'Donohue

Your soul knows the geography of your destiny. Your soul alone has the map of your future, therefore you can trust this indirect, oblique side of yourself. If you do, it will take you where you need to go, but more important it will teach you a kindness of rhythm in your journey.

Tulshi Sen

"The yardstick of success is not measured by fame and wealth;
it is measured by your level of understanding of who you are,
why you are here and where you are going from here."

You are an ocean of knowledge,
hidden in a dew drop.

‎There is a transcendental dimension beyond language ... it's just hard as hell to talk about!

Reminder

Illness is caused by the negative energy of your thoughts pulling you out of your natural high frequency state of being.

Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate.

I've Learned...

that when you're in love, it shows.
that just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.
that being kind is more important than being right.
t
hat you should never say no to a gift from a child.
that I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.
that no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
that sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
that under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
that to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
that when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
that love, not time, heals all wounds.
that everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
that no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
that opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
that when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
that I wish I could have told my Dad that I love him one more time before he passed away.
that one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
that a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
that I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
that everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
that it is best to give advice in only two circumstances; when it is requested and when it is a life threatening situation.

Khalil Gibran

The reality of the other person lies not in what he reveals to you, but what he cannot reveal to you. Therefore, if you would understand him, listen not to what he says, but rather to what he does not say.

Send love in some form to those you feel have wronged you and notice how much better you feel.

Anytime you’re filled with resentment, you’re turning the controls of your emotional life over to others to manipulate.

Removing resentment and
blame from your life means never assigning responsibility to anyone for what you’re experiencing. It means that you’re willing to say, “I may not understand why I feel this way, why I have this illness, why I’ve been victimized, or why I had this accident, but I’m willing to say without any guilt or resentment that I own it. I live with, and I am responsible for, having it in my life.” Why do this? If you take responsibility for having it, then at least you have a chance to also take responsibility for removing it or learning from it.
First, you have to get past blame. Then you have to learn to send love to all, rather than anger and resentment. Just as no one can define you, neither do you have the privilege of defining others. When you stop judging and simply become an observer, you will know inner peace. With that sense of inner peace, you’ll find yourself free of the negative energy of resentment, and you’ll be able to live a life of contentment. A bonus is that you’ll find that others are much more attracted to you. A peaceful person attracts peaceful energy.
At the root of virtually all spiritual practice is the notion of forgiveness. Think about every single person who has ever harmed you, cheated you, defrauded you, or said unkind things about you. Your experience of them is nothing more than a thought that you carry around with you. These thoughts of resentment, anger, and hatred represent slow, debilitating energies that will disempower you. If you could release them, you would know more peace.

You practice forgiveness for two reasons: to let others know that you no longer wish to be in a state of hostility with them and to free yourself from the self-defeating energy of resentment.

Dalai Lama

Pay attention not only to the cultivation of knowledge but to the cultivation of qualities of the heart; so that at the end of an education, not only will you be knowledgeable, but also you will be a warm-hearted and compassionate person.
