The Universal Law of Magnetic Affinities

By Astrologically choosing the time and place of your birth, you determine the nature or the effects you will experience in your life. On the other side, before we are born, we make decisions about the lifetime we will be entering into. You chose your parents, other souls to interact with you, and the Astrological configurations of your birth which determine your character, personality, abilities, restrictions, and timing for strengths and weaknesses. If all of this seems too complicated to be real, be aware that you are only using five to ten percent of the capacity of your brain. And the brain-mind researchers say the human brain has 200,000 times the capacity of the greatest computer ever built. Such calculations as I've just described would be no problem for such a computer.

The Universal Law of Unconditional Love

The expression of unconditional love will eventually result in harmony. Unconditional love is not romantic love.

It is the acceptance of others as they are without judgment or expectations. It is total acceptance of others without attempting to change them, except by our own positive example.

The law of unconditional love says, "If you go out of your way to express unconditional love, you automatically rise above fear, and, as you transcend your fears, you automatically open to the expression of unconditional love.

The Universal Law of Reflection

This Law says that the traits you respond to in others, you recognize in yourself, both positive and negative. It has four primary manifestations:

1.That which you admire in others, you recognize as existing within yourself;
2.That which you resist and react to strongly in others is sure to be found within yourself;
3.That which you resist and react to in others is something which you are afraid exists within you; and,
4.That which you resist in yourself, you will dislike in others.

In other words, you have chosen to incarnate upon the manifest plane to learn to rise above the effect of fear. Those fears will always be reflected in your reactions to others, Thus your goals are very obvious once you recognize how to perceive them. As you let go of the fear, you automatically open to expressing more unconditional love.

The Law of Attraction

"Where your attention goes, your energy flows." You attract what you are and that which you concentrate upon. If you are negative, you draw in and experience negativity. If you are loving, you draw in and experience love. You can attract to you only those qualities you possess. So, if you want peace and harmony in your life, you must become peaceful and harmonious.

The Universal Law of Resistance

That which you resist you draw to you, and you will perpetuate its influence upon your life. Resistance is fear, so it is something you need to Karmically resolve. The Law of Resistance assures that you let go of the fear by encountering it until you are forced to deal with it by learning conscious detachment.

The Universal Law of Fellowship

When two or more people of similar vibration are gathered for a shared purpose, their combined energy directed to the attainment of that purpose is doubled, tripled, quadrupled or more. This esoteric awareness has been used by covens, esoteric religions, healing groups, and recently, worldwide meditations for world peace.

The Universal Law of Manifestation

Everything manifest begins as a thought, an idea. Ideas and experiences create beliefs which in turn, create your reality. If you are unhappy with your current reality, you must change your beliefs and your behavior.

Beliefs can be changed when you recognize those that are not working for you, and begin programming what will create success and harmony in your life.

The unlimited creative power of your mind, through dedication, awareness and training, can be the wisdom to rise above your Karma.

Within physical and spiritual laws, you can manifest any reality you desire to experience. In regard to changing your behavior, you must decide which disharmonious behavior you want to eliminate.

Then be aware that you don't have to change how you feel about something to affect it, if you are willing to change what you are doing.

The Universal Law of Free Will

Although many of the major events in your life are Astrologically predestined, you always have free will to mitigate the impact of the event, or to transcend it entirely. This will result from how you live your life up to the situation you have destined for yourself to experience. If you give grace and mercy to others, are positive, loving, compassionate, and demonstrate by your action that you have learned past lessons, you can minimize disharmonious experiences.

As you obtain Master of life awareness and develop conscious detachment, you will be far less affected by worldly events than in the past. A Master of Life enjoys all the warmth and joy that life has to offer, but detaches from the negativity by allowing it to flow through him without affecting him.

You always have free will in how you respond to any situation. If you respond with positive emotions, compassion and integrity, you have probably learned your karmic lessons and will not have to experience a similar situation in the future.

The Universal Law of Vibrational Attainment

The entire Universe operates on the same principle of vibrational energy. When Einstein discovered that "matter is energy" he opened the door to merging science and metaphysics.

The scientists have proved that energy cannot die, it can only transform (reincarnate), and, by its very nature, energy must go forward or backwards, it cannot stand still, for to do so is stagnation, resulting in transformation.

You are energy. Your skin, which appears solid, is actually trillions of swiftly moving molecules orbiting each other at a specific vibrational rate; a physical life rate you have earned in the past as a result of how harmoniously or disharmoniously you have lived your past lives and your current life up until this moment in time. When you are harmonious for a lifetime, you will have attained the highest vibrational rate.

The Universal Law of Bodhisattva

Bodhisattva is a Sanskrit term commonly accepted by most Metaphysical adepts today. It means one who has transcended the need of Earthly incarnations but who has chosen to return to the earth to support others in achieving enlightenment. A Bodhisattva knows s/he will never really be free until all souls are free. Most serious students of metaphysics have entered the Bodhisattva Development Stage of their evolution.

A Lover's Call

Where are you, my beloved? Are you in that little
Paradise, watering the flowers who look upon you
As infants look upon the breast of their mothers?

Or are you in your chamber where the shrine of
Virtue has been placed in your honor,
and upon
Which you offer my heart and soul as sacrifice?

Or amongst the books, seeking human knowledge,
While you are replete with heavenly wisdom?

Oh companion of my soul, where are you?
Are you
Praying in the temple? Or calling Nature in the
Field, haven of your dreams?

Are you in the huts of the poor, consoling the
Broken-hearted with the sweetness of your soul, and
Filling their hands with your bounty?

You are God's spirit everywhere;
You are stronger than the ages.

Do you have memory of the day we met, when the halo of
Your spirit surrounded us
, and the Angels of Love
Floated about, singing the praise of the soul's deed?

Do you recollect our sitting in the shade of the
Branches, sheltering ourselves from Humanity,
as the ribs
Protect the divine secret of the heart from injury?

Remember you the trails and forest we walked, with hands
Joined, and our heads leaning against each other, as if
We were hiding ourselves within ourselves?

Recall you the hour I bade you farewell,
And the Maritime kiss you placed on my lips?
That kiss taught me that joining of lips in Love
Reveals heavenly secrets which the tongue cannot utter!

That kiss was introduction to a great sigh,
Like the Almighty's breath that turned earth into man.

That sigh led my way into the spiritual world,
Announcing the glory of my soul;
and there
It shall perpetuate until again we meet.

I remember when you kissed me and kissed me,
With tears coursing your cheeks, and you said,
"Earthly bodies must often separate for earthly purpose,
And must live apart impelled by worldly intent.

"But the spirit remains joined safely in the hands of
Love, until death arrives and takes joined souls to God.

"Go, my beloved; Love has chosen you her delegate;
Over her, for she is Beauty who offers to her follower
The cup of the sweetness of life

As for my own empty arms, your love shall remain my
Comforting groom; you memory, my Eternal wedding."

Where are you now, my other self? Are you awake in
The silence of the night?
Let the clean breeze convey
To you my heart's every beat and affection.

Are you fondling my face in your memory? That image
Is no longer my own, for Sorrow has dropped his
Shadow on my happy countenance of the past.

Sobs have withered my eyes which reflected your beauty And dried my lips which you sweetened with kisses.

Where are you, my beloved? Do you hear my weeping
From beyond the ocean?
Do you understand my need?
Do you know the greatness of my patience?

Is there any spirit in the air capable of conveying
To you the breath of this dying youth? Is there any
Secret communication between angels that will carry to
You my complaint?

Where are you, my beautiful star? The obscurity of life
Has cast me upon its bosom;
sorrow has conquered me.

Sail your smile into the air; it will reach and enliven me!
Breathe your fragrance into the air; it will sustain me!

Where are you, me beloved?
Oh, how great is Love! And how little am I!

Joseph Beuys

Joseph Beuys' teaching philosophy ( May 12, 1921 – January 23, 1986 )

During an Artform interview with Willoughby Sharp in 1969, Beuys added to his famous statement - "teaching is my greatest work of art" - that “the rest is the waste product, a demonstration. If you want to express yourself you must present something tangible. But after a while, this has only the function of a historic document. Objects aren’t very important any more. I want to get to the origin of matter, to the thought behind it."
Beuys saw his role of an artist as a teacher or shaman who could guide society in a new direction (Sotheby’s catalog, 1992).

At the Düsseldorf Academy of Art Beuys did not impose his artistic style or techniques on his students; in fact, he kept much of his work and exhibitions hidden from the classroom because he wanted his students to explore their own interests, ideas, and talents.
Beuys’ actions were somewhat contradictory: while he was extremely strict about certain aspects of classroom management and instruction, such as punctuality and the need for students to take draughtsmanship classes, he encouraged his students to freely set their own artistic goals without having to prescribe to set curricula.
Another aspect of Beuys’ pedagogy included open “ring discussions,” where Beuys and his students discussed political and philosophical issues of the day, including the role of art, democracy, and the university in society.

Some of Beuys’ ideas espoused in class discussion and in his art-making included free art education for all, the discovery of creativity in everyday life, and the belief that everyone was an artist.
Beuys himself encouraged peripheral activity and all manner of expression to emerge during the course of these discussions.

While some of Beuys’ students enjoyed the open discourse of the Ringgesprache, others, including Palermo and Immendorf, disapproved of the classroom disorder, anarchic characteristics, eventually rejecting his methods and philosophies altogether.

Beuys also advocated taking art outside of the boundaries of the (art) system and to open it up to multiple possibilities bringing creativity into all areas of life.

His nontraditional and anti-establishment pedagogical practice and philosophy made him the focus of much controversy and in order to battle the policy of “restricted entry” under which only a few select students were allowed to attend art classes, he deliberately allowed students to over-enroll in his courses (Anastasia Shartin,), true to his belief those who have something to teach and those who have something to learn should come together.

According to Cornelia Lauf (1992), “in order to implement his idea, as well as a host of supporting notions encompassing cultural and political concepts, Beuys crafted a charismatic artistic persona that infused his work with mystical overtones and led him to be called "shaman" and "messianic" in the popular press.”

Beuys had adopted shamanism not only as his presentation mode of his art but also in his own life. Although the artist as a shaman has been a trend in modern art (Picasso, Gauguin), Beuys is unusual in that respect as he integrated “his art and his life into the shaman role.”

Beuys believed that humanity, with its turn on rationality, was trying to eliminate “emotions” and thus eliminate a major source of energy and creativity in every individual.

In his first lecture tour in America he was telling the audience that humanity was in an evolving state and that as “spiritual” beings we ought to draw on both our emotions and our thinking as they represent the total energy and creativity for every individual.

Beuys described how we must seek out and energize our spirituality and link it to our thinking powers so that “our vision of the world must be extended to encompass all the invisible energies with which we have lost contact."

In Beuys’s own words,
“So when I appear as a kind of shamanistic figure, or allude to it, I do it to stress my belief in other priorities and the need to come up with a completely different plan for working with substances.
For instance, in places like universities, where everyone speaks so rationally, it is necessary for a kind of enchanter to appear.”

Beuys, as he often explained in his interviews, saw and used his
performative art as shamanistic and psychoanalytic techniques to both educate and heal the general public.

Teach this triple truth to all

A generous heart,

kind speech,

and a life of service and compassion are the things which renew humanity.

Art of Living

To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one's own mind. If a man can control his mind he can find the way to Enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.

Doubt

There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills.

Health

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness the best relationship.

To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clean.

Without health life is not life; it is only a state of langour and suffering - an image of death.

Read

Just as a candle cannot burn without fire, men cannot live without a spiritual life.

No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.

Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.
There has to be evil so that good can prove its purity above it.

Those who are free of resentful thoughts surely find peace.

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.

All wrong-doing arises because of mind. If mind is transformed can wrong-doing remain?

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Hatred does not cease by hatred, but only by love; this is the eternal rule.

However many holy words you read, however many you speak, what good will they do you if you do not act on upon them?

In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true.

It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways.

It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

To live a pure unselfish life, one must count nothing as one's own in the midst of abundance.

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.

Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care for people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or ill.

**When one has the feeling of dislike for evil, when one feels tranquil, one finds pleasure in listening to good teachings; when one has these feelings and appreciates them, one is free of fear.**

Are wars necessary for world peace ?

The short answer is NO! Focusing on love and peace is what is necessary for world peace.

To be against something, for instance an idea, philosophy or cause, is a drain of energy.

To be for something actually increases your enthusiasm and energy.

Mother Teresa was once asked if she would join in a protest march against war.

She said  “no, I will not march in a protest against war,

but when you organize a march for peace, please let me know,

I’ll be the first to sign up.”

Therefore be for peace, harmony, justice and every good thing"

Official trailer of the movie "One Day"

The plot of "One Day"

Dexter and Emma spend the night together following their graduation from Edinburgh University in 1988. They talk about the future and how they will be once they are 40. While they do not become romantically involved completely, this is the beginning of their friendship.

The novel visits their lives and their relationship on July 15 in successive years in each chapter for 20 years. Emma wants to improve the world and begins writing and performing plays, which remain unsuccessful, while Dexter travels through the world, drinking and hooking up with women.

Eventually both move to London where Emma becomes a waitress in Kentish Town at a Tex-Mex restaurant, while Dexter becomes a successful television presenter. While there are various attempts from both sides to start a relationship, coincidences stop Emma and Dexter from getting together and while they have relationships with other people, they stay best friends, both secretly longing for the other.

They are drawn together closer through a holiday together and the death of Dexter's mother. Ian, Emma's boyfriend breaks up with her after he realizes that she is in love with Dexter and not with him.

During this time Emma is able to find a job as a teacher, after various years of struggle, despite a "double-first degree". Dexter meanwhile develops a drinking and drug problem and watches his career collapse.

The friendship between Emma and Dexter grows more and more difficult, after Emma is constantly hurt by Dexter who attempts to hide his feelings for her from both her and himself.

After being treated rudely by Dexter at a restaurant, Emma breaks up the friendship. At the wedding of Emma's former roommate, Emma and Dexter meet again. Emma admits that she wants Dexter back. At this point of time she has just ended an affair with her headmaster, Dexter has fallen in love with another woman, Sylvie, who is pregnant.

At this reunion, he invites Emma to his wedding, who is disappointed by the situation. Emma eventually overcomes her problems and publishes a book, while Dexter is unemployed and overwhelmed by his role as a father.

After realizing this, he and Emma for the first time have sex. They do not get together and Emma leaves to go to Paris to write her second novel. When Dexer visits her in Paris, he learns that she met someone and likes him and for the first time admits his feelings to her.

After talking about their relationship, Emma chooses Dexter. Emma and Dexter get married and are happy together, however Emma wants a child. The couple finds themselves frustrated by the failing attempts to have a child. Dexter however is able to open a deli-cafe and finds himself suddenly successful again.

On the anniversary of the day they met after graduation and the day they got together, Emma and Dexter have an appointment to see a house. While travelling there, Emma has a bike accident and dies. After her death, Dexter finds himself in despair. He starts to drink again and provokes people in bars in order to get beaten.

He is comforted through his ex-wife Sylvie, his father and his daughter. The upcoming year he travels together with his daughter to Edinburgh where he and Emma met and they climb the same mountain together that Emma and Dexter climbed 19 years ago.

The book ends with a memory of what happened after that first night together in 1988 and Emma's and Dexter's first kiss and promise to stay in touch and their goodbye.

Antonio de Marco Magliabechi

He was born at Florence, the son of a burgher named Marco Magliabechi, and Ginevra Baldorietta.
Although Magliabechi was apprenticed to a goldsmith, and worked in this capacity until his fortieth year, Michele Ermini, librarian to Cardinal de' Medici, recognized his academic ability and taught him Latin, Greek, and Hebrew.

In 1673 he became librarian to Cosimo III de' Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany. Magliabechi became the central figure of literary life in Florence, and scholars of every nation sought his acquaintance and corresponded with him. Whilst this eminent post gave him considerable prominence, he is remembered more for his personal characteristics and his vast store of self-acquired learning. He has been described as a literary glutton, and the most rational of bibliomaniacs, inasmuch as he read everything he bought. His own library consisted of 40,000 books and 10,000 manuscripts. His house literally overflowed with books; the stairways were lined with them, and they even filled the front porch. Many stories are told of his marvellous memory that was "like wax to receive and marble to retain."

In worldly matters, Magliabechi was extremely negligent. *Reputedly, he once even forgot to draw his salary for over a year. *He wore his clothes until they fell from him, and thought it a great waste of time to undress at night, "life being so short and books so plentiful".
*He welcomed all inquiring scholars, provided they did not disturb him while at work.

Stories about Magliabechi abound. Apparently, he was a man of a most forbidding and savage aspect, and exceedingly negligent of his person. He refused to be waited upon. His dinner was commonly three hard-boiled eggs, with a draught of water. He had a small window in his door, through which he could see all those who approached him; and if he did not wish for their company, he would not admit them. He spent some hours in each day at the palace library; but is said never in his life to have gone farther from Florence than to Prato, whither he once accompanied Cardinal Henry Norris, librarian at the Vatican, to see a manuscript.

PS : If he memorised the complete library of the Grand Duke of Tuscany, we can do it, too

The Zahir by Jorge Luis Borges

The One who has manifest all of creation and who is manifest in all of creation.

The One whose nature and existence is demonstrated in all of creation.

The One whose essence and attributes are shown throughout all of creation.

The One who is above creation, yet who is made visible through creation

Hundredth Monkey

The Japanese monkey, Macaca fuscata, has been observed in the filed for a period of over 30 years. In 1952, on the island of Koshima scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkeys liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the firt unpleasant.

An 18-month old female name Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers, too.

This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists. Between 1952 and 1958, all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable. Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dritysweet potatoes.

Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known. Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes. Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes. THEN IT HAPPENED!

By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them. The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!

But notice. The most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then spontaneously jumped over the sea -- Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes!
(Lifetide, Watson, pp. 147-148, Bantam Books, 1980. This book gives other fascinating details.)

PS : That is , once a critical number is reached, we can spread "consciousness" instantaneously. By generalization it means the instantaneous, paranormal spreading of an idea or ability to the remainder of a population once a certain portion of that population has heard of the new idea or learned the new ability

The Hidden Music

My heart, sit only with those
who know and understand you.

Sit only under a tree
that is full of blossoms.

In the bazaar of herbs and potions
don't wander aimlessly
find the shop with a potion that is sweet
If you don't have a measure
people will rob you in no time.
You will take counterfeit coins
thinking they are real.
Don't fill your bowl with food from
every boiling pot you see.
Not every joke is humorous, so don't search
for meaning where there isn't one.
Not every eye can see,
not every sea is full of pearls.
My heart, sing the song of longing
like nightingale.
The sound of your voice casts a spell
on every stone, on every thorn.
First, lay down your head
then one by one
let go of all distractions.
Embrace the light and let it guide you
beyond the winds of desire.
There you will find a spring and nourished by its waters
like a tree you will bear fruit forever.

Kuan Yin

“Many don’t understand prayer. It is important to understand what prayer is. It is sent out as strong intention and energy. Trust… If enough people knew about this, if every human being could recognize the power of the Love and Forgiveness Principle, all consciousness on earth would change instantly. Indeed, thoughts can change the course of history. Sometimes, all it takes is enough people knowing about a certain concept.”

Take These Thoughts With You On Your Journey To Your Dreams

Don't ever forget that you are unique. Be your best self and not an imitation of someone else.
Find your strength and use them in a positive way. Don't listen to those who ridicule the choices you make.
Travel the road that you have chosen and don't look back with regret. You have to take chances to make your dreams happen.
Remember that there is plenty of time to travel another road - and still another - in your journey through life.
Take the time to find the route that is right for you. You will learn something valuable from every trip you take, so don't be afraid to make mistakes.
Tell yourself that you're okay just the way you are. Make friends who respect your true self.
Take the time to be alone, too, so you can know just how terrific your own company can be.

Remember that being alone doesn't always mean being lonely; it can be a beautiful experience of finding your creativity, your heartfelt feelings, and the calm and quiet peace deep inside you.

Don't ever forget that you are special and you have within you the ability to make your dreams come true.

11.11

My one and only One and Only

Be True to Your Heart

Stay true to all your beliefs and goals.
Stand tall.
Through all life's setbacks and disappointments,
your dreams will come true.

When no one else is with you,
and no one seems to care,
just whisper to yourself,
" I am the controller of my destiny."
It's up to me what comes to pass,
and if I keep my thoughts positive and strong,
my dreams will come true."

When what seem to be impossible obstacles
stand in your way, just think of all the times
you got through yesterday.

There is a place for you in this world.
Stay on your chosen path.All the power is within you;
be true to what is in your heart.Be honest within yourself;
if you are, then you cannot fail.
Your dreams will come true.

Ralph Waldo Emerson...May 25, 1803 – April 27, 1882

We live in succession, in division, in parts, in particles. Meantime within man is the soul of the whole; the wise silence; the universal beauty, to which every part and particle is equally related, the eternal ONE. And this deep power in which we exist and whose beatitude is all accessible to us, is not only self-sufficing and perfect in every hour, but the act of seeing and the thing seen, the seer and the spectacle, the subject and the object, are one. We see the world piece by piece, as the sun, the moon, the animal, the tree; but the whole, of which these are shining parts, is the soul

Be kind and gentle to yourself

Loving words are indeed powerful. Kids need them even adults too. Here are some samples of loving words that we need to say daily to ourselves and to the people around us.

You are beautiful
You are special
You are remarkable
You are wonderful
You have a good heart
You did a great job
You look good
I am proud of you
I am grateful for you
I like you
I appreciate you
Thank you
I love you

Projection

"Why is everyone here so happy except me?"

"Because they have learned to see goodness and beauty everywhere," said the Master.

"Why don't I see goodness and beauty everywhere?"

"Because you cannot see outside of you what you fail to see inside."

‘Are Your Potatoes Heavy?’

A college teacher brought a couple of huge sacks of potatoes to class one day. She told her students to think of people they have refused to forgive for whatever it was that they said or did to them. All of the students could think of quite a number of people who had done something to them that was absolutely unforgivable. The teacher then instructed the students to take one potato from the sack for each person for whom they could not forgive and write the name of that person on the potato. Each student then put their potatoes inside a clear plastic bag and were told to carry that bag with them everywhere they went for one full week. They were to put the bag beside their bed at night, on the car seat when driving, next to their desk at work, at the dinner table, etc.

The students experienced the inconvenience of lugging this bag of potatoes around with them. Naturally, the condition of the potatoes deteriorated to a nasty smelly slime. This was a great metaphor for the price we pay for the emotional baggage we carry around with us when we refuse to forgive others for the pain they have caused during our life’s experiences. The message came across loud and clear to the students who suddenly realized that while we often think of forgiveness as a gift to the other person, it is actually a gift for ourselves to get rid of these nasty feelings that we harbour inside.”

Marie Balter

''I wouldn't have grown one bit if I didn't learn to forgive''

A woman who was misdiagnosed and kept in a state mental hospital for more than 15 years has returned to the hospital as a full-time administrator. She has earned a master's degree at Harvard.

Marie Balter was 16 and clinically depressed when she was diagnosed as schizophrenic and sent to Danvers State Hospital. She was released in 1966 and went back to school; she has since then worked with psychiatric patients, given lectures around the country, and and written an autobiography.

Now Mrs. Balter, who is 58 years old, is devoting her efforts to helping improve the hospital. She began work as community affairs director earlier this month.

''I wouldn't have grown one bit if I didn't learn to forgive,'' she said in a recent interview. ''If you don't forgive your parents or your children or yourself you don't get beyond that anger.
Forgiving is a way of reaching out from a bad past and heading out to a more positive future."

Marvin M. McNally hired Mrs. Balter three months into his tenure as Danvers' chief operating officer.
''She is a model for many people,'' Mr. McNally said. ''I think she serves in that way for many people - not just ex-patients. She has faced adversity, has overcome it and has succeeded.''

She was born in Boston to an alcoholic mother and was adopted by a couple in Gloucester who disciplined her harshly, sometimes locking her in the cellar. Increasingly depressed, she was institutionalized in 1947 with symptoms that included muscle spasms, choking, hyperventilation and hallucinations.

Mrs. Balter said she later learned she had suffered from a form of depression and panic disorder, not schizophrenia.

''It wasn't deliberate on the part of the doctors and the hospital,'' she said. ''Not much was known about panic disorders back then. A person who had panic disorders was identified as a little bit crazy.''
Her recovery was painful and gradual, as she overcame a despair that often left her unable to eat or move. She contemplated suicide more than once.

Mrs. Balter credits her turnaround her own strength bolstered with the help of friends, mental health workers and her strong faith for her release.

After her release, married Joseph Balter, an accountant. He died suddenly, of a blood clot, as she studied for final examinations at Salem State College, where she earned a degree in psychology. She went on to earn a master's from Harvard in administration, planning and public policy.

Edgar Cayce ( 1877–1945 )

Cayce has variously been referred to as a "prophet" (cf. Jess Stearn's book, The Sleeping Prophet), a "mystic", and a "seer".
Cayce's methods involved lying down and entering into what appeared to be a hypnotic trance or sleep state, usually at the request of a subject who was seeking help with health or other personal problems (subjects were not usually present). The subject's questions would then be given to Cayce, and Cayce would proceed with a reading. At first these readings dealt primarily with the physical health of the individual (physical readings); later readings on past lives, business advice, dream interpretation, and mental or spiritual health were also given.
Until September 1923, his readings were not systematically preserved. However, an October 10, 1922, Birmingham (Alabama) Age-Herald article quotes Cayce as saying that he had given 8,056 readings as of that date, and it is known that he gave approximately 13,000-14,000 readings after that date. Today, only about 14,000 are available at Cayce headquarters and on-line. Thus, it appears that about 7,000-8,000 Cayce readings are missing.
When out of the trance he entered to perform a reading, Cayce said he generally did not remember what he had said during the reading. The unconscious mind, according to Cayce, has access to information which the conscious mind does not — a common assumption about hypnosis in Cayce's time. After Gladys Davis became Cayce's secretary on September 10, 1923, all readings were preserved and his wife Gertrude Evans Cayce generally conducted (guided) the readings.
Cayce said that his trance statements should be taken into account only to the extent that they led to a better life for the recipient. Moreover, he invited his audience to test his suggestions rather than accept them on faith.
Other abilities that have been attributed to Cayce include astral projection, prophesying, mediumship, viewing the Akashic Records or "Book of Life", and seeing auras. Cayce said he became interested in learning more about these subjects after he was informed about the content of his readings, which he reported that he never actually heard himself.[21]

Is The World Going Crazy?

-Untold wars
-greed
-the suppression of the poor and weak
-deception by our political and religious leaders
-hatred
-racial biases
-materialistic self-gratification and over-indulgences
-the destruction of our planet to feed our greed
-the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few
-the social injustice all over the planet because of it.

We now find ourselves shifting from the Age of Pisces, which has lasted some 2,160 years, to that of Aquarius, whose birth is taking place as you read these words. In other words, we are in an astrological twilight zone where one age is overlapping with another, where one age is dying and another is being born, where the old and the new will exist side by side for a short period of time.

For a while, it will feel as though we are being pulled in different directions and that our world is strange and confusing. However, with time, the influence of Aquarius will be felt more and more and it will have a profound impact on our future destiny.

During the past 50 years, an incredible wave of spiritual wisdom in the form of channeled information, Native American teachings, Far Eastern ancient insights, UFO sightings, crop circles and other mind- expanding happenings has washed over this planet.
In addition, there has been a spectacular explosion of the information age that has combined to awaken the consciousness of humanity and raise its collective awareness in ways never thought possible.

We are leaving an age of fear and giving birth to an age of love and peace. Because of it, there is a sweeping change taking place on this planet today that is affecting everyone, as the final moments of Pisces fade into the past. We are witnessing an incredible event in which all that is based upon fear is crumbling before our very eyes and its demise will bring all of our insecurities to the surface.

At the same time, all that is based upon love will flourish and this new energy will replace any ego-based motives or intentions that we might have. This shift is inevitable and irreversible. There will be those that try to resist its influence. However, no one will be spared from the sweeping changes that go with it.

As with any birth, the Age of Aquarius will come with some pain before the joy and ecstasy sets in. Chaos and confusion will exist in the twilight zone of this Pisces-to-Aquarius, fear-to-love shift. It will last for a while, it will continue to intensify, and it will seem as if the world has truly gone mad.

Today there are two forces crashing head to head with one another at this point in time; the spiritual forces of Love and Light and the material forces of darkness and control. At stake is human destiny. All of it is sandwiched between an age of fear that is dying and a New Age of Love that is birthing.

This is the root cause of all the madness that swirls around us more and more each day, making it appear as if the world is going crazy. I assure you it is not. There is divine perfection in it all. The forces of Love and Light will prevail and Aquarius will indeed be a time of peace and harmony.

What should you do in the interim, while all the madness intensifies over the next 10 years or so? As you awaken spiritually, you will discover that there is a sacred place inside each of us called a "God-Spot." It's a space where you will find your inner peace and your inner strength. It's a place where you feel secure and comforted by the love of your Source, knowing that all is well and that nothing is
bigger and stronger than your Oneness with Spirit.

Each of us has our own ways of finding that spot and grounding ourselves within its magical influence.
*Meditation,
*music,
*walks along a stream,
*being with like-minded souls,
*avoiding negative influences and energy,
*yoga,
*healthy foods,
*reading your spiritual books,
*communing with your guides,
*listening for messages from the spirit world that are constantly sent to us,
*the love and support of a spiritual mate,
and so on are just some of the things you can do to stay in your Spirit-Spot.

What is the purpose of life? The Aim

In Saint-Exupery’s most famous novella, the main character of the Little Prince leaves his tiny planet, an asteroid no bigger than a house, to see what he can discover about the rest of the universe. He visits six other asteroids – each of which is inhabited by just one adult who is foolish in his own way.

He visits the King, who apparently reigns over the stars but only by ordering them to do what they would normally do anyway.

He encounters the Conceited Man, who wants to be admired by everyone; he cannot hear anything that is not a compliment, but he lives alone on his planet.

The Little Prince meets the Drunkard, who drinks to forget,

and the Businessman who is constantly busy counting the stars he thinks he owns. He wishes to use them to buy more stars.

On one asteroid, he finds the Lamplighter, who lights and extinguishes the lamp once a minute, at the rotation speed of his asteroid, endlessly, uselessly, getting no rest.

And he encounters the Geographer, who spends all of his time with his nose in astronomic maps, but never leaves his desk to examine his own planet.

Ordinary men as we know them are like the solitary inhabitants of the asteroids visited by the Prince. Each one is locked in his own world, in the prison of his role, sealed in a bubble of vanity and egocentricity, constantly busy in a hypnotic concept of work, doing what they do not love, in places and with people they have not chosen.

But moreover we are most perfectly represented by the railway Switchman whom the Little Prince meets on the seventh planet: the Earth. He is the most emblematic character study on the absurdity and ridiculousness of the human condition. In his mirror we can see the parody of ourselves – our deformed image and the allegory of our lives. The Switchman tells the prince how passengers constantly rush from one place to another aboard trains – never satisfied with where they are, and not knowing what they are after, with only the children amongst them bothering to look out of the windows.

 *Where are we heading?
 *What is our journey’s destiny?
*What is our aim in life?

We never stop in silence and solitude to take time to muse on these crucial questions.

Part 3

I've reached a point in life where I no longer believe that these kinds of spontaneous events happen randomly or by accident.

On the contrary, I am quite convinced that prior to incarnating we planned the general theme of such events. Then, when in body, they occur with those individuals we chose to experience them with at certain stages of our lives.

I also believe that prior to incarnating we review the most recent life we've had, as well as our other past lives. Then, with free will, we choose our next life and what, if anything, we want to accomplish with it.

Once that decision is made our parents, siblings, best friends, and lovers are chosen. We also decide where we want to live, our profession and so on. All of this is done to suit our goals and the goals of others who will be part of our next life drama.

part 2...Here are some typical examples…

An unexpected blind date that leads to lifetime partnership.

A unplanned, delayed airplane flight that brings you and a future business partner together.

Without warning, you lose your job. Several months later another company hires you and you meet your future wife there.

A university unexpectedly accepts you. You go there, meet your best friend, have a relationship and discover many things about yourself that affect your life path.

You receive a surprise bonus at work. With it you take a long weekend vacation, during which you meet an editor who wants to publish the book you have written.

Your father passes on, you relocate to be with your mother, work for a local company and meet your future husband there.

You change universities to play football, attend a class, meet someone you recognize, but never met before, and have a profound relationship that teaches you many things.

Out of nowhere a thought comes into your mind that helps you paint your first successful picture.

During a dream you receive inspiration for your first novel.
You visit a metaphysical bookstore, pick up someone's business card, and meet your twin soul.

Your sister gives you a New Age book during a severe life crisis and you experience a profound spiritual awakening that puts you on a new path in life.

You stoop down to help a homeless person and the tears of thankfulness you've created inspires you to join the Peace Corp, which in turn leads to a life of service for humanity.

You stop to save someone's life who has been in a car accident. You are so moved by the incident you decide to become a physician.

Unexpected events are NO accident...part 1

There are two forces that can influence the path of one's life while one is in body.

The first force occurs when we use our minds to change and create a new reality on our own. For example, we can decide to go to the store, sell the house, sit on the porch, change jobs, take a vacation, wash the car, take a walk, look out the window, brush our teeth, write a book and so on. These kinds of choices take place all the time and we make hundreds, if not thousands, of them each day.

The second force that influences our earthly journey is a far more interesting one, if we are interested in learning about the life plan we made for ourselves before incarnating. Out of nowhere this "force" can bring unexpected events, circumstances or people into our lives creating change and a new life path in its wake.

These kinds of spontaneous, unplanned experiences happen to all of us at various times in our lives. Unfortunately, they are usually written off as accidents or coincidences. They are not.

The "Death" Of Ego

"Die before you die"

You cannot live, nor can you be free, until you have died. This has nothing to do with physical death. Rather, it has to do with the experience of "death" of a part of your mind that is keeping you from remembering who you really are.

What do those words mean? Each of us on this planet has a separate self or an ego that has become self-centered and selfish throughout the many physical lives we’ve spent attached to this planet. This is not how we were prior to the Fall of mankind.

How did it all happen? In the beginning, we were all ONE with our Source. We then entered the physical universe with free will and the ability to create all that our minds could conceive. We were always God-centered and never separated from our Creator because of it.

Millions of years ago our spirits discovered planet Earth and the 3-dimensional ways of life She had to offer. It was a magnificent place, a Garden of Eden. In order to experience the wonders of this planet, we had to lower the vibrations of our Light bodies to that of 3-dimensional reality. We knew that this denser form of existence was full of risk, but that did not stop us.

We were faced with two choices. We could appreciate and enjoy Earth, but not get attached to the offerings of her physical world. Or we could loose our oneness with God and separate from our Source by losing ourselves in Earth's material pleasures. Sadly, we made the lesser choice, lost our God-centeredness and eventually forgot who we really are.

If we want to be free spirits again, as we once were, we’ll have to wake up and remember our true spiritual nature and divine connection. We’ve accumulated a lot of negative karma while going through the many reincarnational, life-death cycles since the Fall. In order to balance this karma, all will have to be healed in love and forgiveness.

Ego's function was, and still is, a useful safety mechanism to protect us in a 3-dimensional environment. For example, the quick response we have when jumping out of the way of an on-rushing car is the ego's way of protecting us. This fear-based mechanism is healthy. However, over many lifetimes of trying to survive in a physical body, the ego has grown out of control. As a result, fear dominates the way we think and act.

How do we solve this problem? We need to awaken from our material dream and remember that we are really Beings of Light whose true nature is unconditional love and God-centeredness. That in turn will lead to higher choices based upon unselfishness, understanding, humility, caring, giving, forgiveness, sharing and compassion.

In the process of trying to live such a life, we will go through a profound inner change that is incredible. It’s as though we are wiping the dust off our eyes, as we begin to remember who we really are.

Can all of this be done in just a single lifetime? I don’t think so. It takes tremendous amount of courage and discipline to lead such a life. But we have to begin sometime, if we want to be free again.

As we live a spiritually balanced life, we'll find the ego reacting in a very defensive way. The ego wants to be the source of all the choices we make in life and is afraid of losing control over us. The ego will continue with this struggle and will use fear as a means of maintaining control. The best way to handle this is to reassure the ego that it has nothing to fear. Tell it that you love it unconditionally, but you no longer want it to dictate the path of your life anymore.

The closer you get to relinquishing the ego's influence, the more clever it will become. It will tempt you with all it can to preserve a way of being that keeps you grounded in your lower self and separated from God.

Sooner or later, you will have to experience the "death" of your ego in order to reach enlightenment. Once free from fear, life is lived with great feeling, great zest and our actions are no longer controlled by what we are afraid of.

Spiritual awakening, meditation, exposing one’s self to the universal Truths, living a life of unselfish love, self-discipline, and so on puts enormous pressure on the ego and eventually begins to diminish its influence.

The pain of this experience, along with releasing our attachments to the material pleasures of this world, can build to a point where it is called spiritual crisis or the dark night of the soul.

Spiritual crisis is a cleansing process that one must go through to reach partial or total ego death. It can be a very devastating experience that is filled with much depression and despair. But if you can hang on, if you can endure the suffering with patience, acceptance and surrender, you will have a conscious "death" experience and become much closer to God for having experienced it.

I am quite convinced that we will have to go through many ego death experiences, big and small, before the last vestige of fear, selfishness and separation has been removed from us. At that point our cup will be emptied. The dross will have been burned off and we will be who we truly are; God-centered spirits who are free to roam the universe once again.

When Love incarnates...11

The longing for our perfect mate is a need engraved in our DNA.

We harbor a desire for restoration and unity, and search for the piece that is always missing.

In our journey through life, the search continues for something that can't be readily found.

It is a quest for wholeness.

We search for ourselves in others in a quest for healing and integration, in the constant pursuit of the final point of balance: the Zero Point where our Matter meets our Higher Self or Soul, where matter meets anti-matter.

The Point or center of gravity from where we can again be just ONE.
One Note inserted once again into the Symphony of Creation.

In the beginning, the Twins were created in God, the Alpha and the Omega.

In an ovoid white-fire-spirit-light, the Soul was split just like the atom into two identical parts, or Twin Flames: each with the same identical soul blueprint, but with different purposes.

One Essence divided itself into two exactly equal and opposite intonations in order to experience form. The Twin Flames were created together, in the dawn of time, like the two faces of the same coin.

But as the three-dimensional experience unfolded, they became separated by a dualistic system which pulled them into an unbalanced equilibrium, expressing itself through two extended and separated forms.

The Yin Yang symbolizes the Twin Flames' complementary sides: eternal love spiraling into infinity. The Color of this sublime Union is blue...a spiraling blue...

Sometimes, we meet someone with the similar frequency of our Twin Flame and this brings a feeling of Oneness.

The Love between Twin Flames is a Gate of Possibility to experience Union in a multi-dimensional way.

It can also represent the prototype of the "sacred marriage" - a reflection of the sacred union of the Divine Masculine and Feminine within the Source.

The Union of the Twin Flame is one of Service. It should not be romanticized in the context by which one perceives the male and female relationship. The Service of the Twin Flame is not only planetary but also cosmic and Universal.

The Twin Soul connection is always a triad involving the Divine Spirit / All That Is.

Two people connected by Soul, connected to God.

The spiritual connection with our Twin Soul is intense and profound.

Many may experience, whether consciously or in a dream state, a feeling of connection in the form of a matrix of golden white threads of light, because this connection continues to exist in various dimensions and frequencies, beyond the realms of duality.

Twin Souls may not unite physically here on Earth. The relationship may last many lifetimes on the spiritual level alone, while one or both may be living physically with another soul in karmic agreement.

They may not be together in this dimension, but they have not been truly apart.

Only when both original halves of the Twin Ray become strong pillars on their own, when both have healed and resolved their karmic ties in the present life; can they finally unite to fulfill their Divine Purpose.

The Breath of God is the force of Divine Action. Once the true Tonal Mates, the two parts of the Original Twin Flame, have come into union and are reunited through the Breath of God; NO element or energy from any octave, dimension, or frequency can shift the connection.

The reunion of these parts will bring back to the world an unconditional love and service to mankind, which will transcend all definitions of male/female unions on this planet.

Through this, we as souls can finally manifest the higher Dimensional Frequencies of Oneness.

This is the ultimate goal: the reunion with our Twin, to create and amplify the Harmonic Intonation of Completion and to be of service of all Sources of Goodness and Pure Light.

Are You Prepared To Serve?
